The solar camel.

Fridges can be a little tricky in parts of africa where electricity is sparse or unpredictable in its availability. The desert particularly.

But as my high school history teacher drummed into my head - necessity is the mother of invention'.

And here is an ingenious invention from a young man in Chad.

Solar powered cool-boxes loaded with vaccines (which would otherwise perish in the heat), can now be safely transported by camel...even across the sahara.

Ladies and gentlemen I present to you....Le Chameau Solaire!
